Hi, I’m Priya! As a second-generation family childcare provider, I have the unique privilege of continuing a tradition that began in the very home I grew up in. Born and raised in Potomac, Maryland, I attended schools in the Winston Churchill cluster before attending University of Maryland Global Campus.

This home has always been more than a house, it has been a place filled with laughter, lifelong friendships, family traditions, and a strong sense of community. Today, I’m honored to share that same environment with the children and families I serve.

My goal is to create the kind of childhood I was fortunate to experience: one filled with outdoor adventures, meaningful relationships, imaginative play, home-cooked meals, and a true sense of belonging. Everyday, I intentionally create experiences that encourage curiosity, kindness, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

I believe children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and valued. My hope is that every family who joins Precious Time Home Childcare finds the same warmth, trust, and sense of community that has made this home so special for generations.

Hello, I’m Parveen! During my years as a family childcare provider, I achieved Maryland Excels Level 5, the highest quality rating, earned accreditation through the National Association of Family Child Care, and obtained the Maryland Child Care Credential. Precious Time grew naturally through word of mouth as families shared their experiences with friends and returned with younger siblings, reflecting the trust and lasting relationships built over the years. After nearly 20 years of lovingly serving children and families, I stepped down in 2025 and proudly passed Precious Time Home Childcare on to my daughter, Priya. She now continues the family legacy built on love, care, and dedication.
